ABOUT US

The TopData story started in 1998, when our founder, Roland Gonda, founded Netcafe, one of the pioneering internet cafes in Angeles City. Netcafe became popular for many students who needed to write school papers and have them transcribed. This is how we began providing services for a freelance talent marketplace company in 2003. Our transcription service kicked off a chain of referrals from satisfied clients.

Soon after, our venture branched out into customer service and became the number one Admin Services provider for a freelance marketplace company for three years in a row, prompting them to hire TopData as its own first-tier customer support provider, with 16 agents on the team.We started providing content management services to a food and beverage company in 2005 while we were still an i-cafe. When the team grew to four full-time employees, the project was eventually moved to our founder’s backyard. This account is still active today with over 30 editors.

TopData moved to our first rented office building in front of Carmelite Monastery in Angeles City, where we stayed for seven years. One of the projects that started in 2009, with four agents answering emails and chats, was moved to the company’s first branch office at Entec 2. A decade later and this project is still growing rapidly. In March 2013, we inaugurated our headquarters. Since then, we have hired only the best people, with the aim of providing world-class service to every customer of each brand we represent. Over the years, our leadership training has become one of the finest in the industry. We use outstanding methods in developing our people to deliver excellent customer experience in every interaction.

It was a humble beginning indeed, but we made it here and we are not going anywhere! So while we rally in creating an impact in the BPO industry, we never lose sight of the most important contributors to our success — our frontliners. ROLAND GONDA
PRESIDENT/CEO
As the founder and president of TopData, Roy brings to the company more than 17 years of experience in New Business Development, Project Management, and overall Operations. He is also the founder of Netcafe and co-founder of Alta Vista Internet Service Provider.
Roy is a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
MIA GONDA
VP FINANCE
Mia handles the delicate balancing act of financial management. She also plans and manages company events such as annual summer retreats and Christmas parties, incentive and bonus systems, and company paid seminars for employees.
Mia is an alumnus of Holy Angel University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
AIZA VENGCO
JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Aiza has been part of TopData since 2005. She conducts and monitors training, monitors work performances of all employees handled, and implements and monitors strategic plans for the team and project. She is also accountable for Client Correspondence and Quality Assurance.
She is a graduate of BS Computer Science at Holy Angel University.
ROMAR BENTOSO
PROJECT MANAGER
Mar joined TopData in February 2006. He is in-charge of Client Correspondence, Quality Assurance, Employee Training and Development, Security & Maintenance Personnel, and IT Administration.
Mar holds an Associate Degree in Computer Systems Design and Programming at AMA CLC.
Jennifer Tio
Head of Human Resources
Jen has been in Human Resource Management for over 16 years. She started in Recruitment, culminating as the Recruitment Lead for all Shell Companies in the Philippines. She then took on to Managerial Roles as Key HR Business Partner for various outsourcing companies in the Philippines. As Head of HR, Jen is responsible for effectively planning, designing, developing, and evaluating human resource- related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals. She also coordinates with relevant departments to ensure fairness, consistency, and effectiveness of the implementation of these initiatives to benefit both the employees and the company.
